Recording of October 2016 SDS talk by David Catanach (BGSA) now available to SDS members

David Catanach (BGSA) at SDS talk in October 2016

For October’s Talk David Catanach from The British Sign & Graphics Association (BSGA), took us through the planning and regulations frameworks that govern signs.  Anything but dry, David peppered his talk with case studies to illustrate how things can go awry.  He also expunged a few myths about who the H&S Executive  (HSE) will want to talk to if there is a failure of a sign. For anyone thinking that the designer will be immune, you need to have a look at David’s presentation. In fact, they will want to question anyone who is deemed to have been involved in whole supply chain – that includes the designer.
A recording and copy of David’s presentation is available to members via the talk archive.  If you weren’t able to make the talk I recommend that you take a look.
