Aslı Çiçek joins us to discuss her practice at the intersection of architecture and scenography.

Çiçek’s work focuses on scenography and exhibition design, with a particular interest in how display structures can shape the encounter between viewer and object.

Significant projects include the open-air storage for Antwerp’s public sculpture collection at Middelheim Park (2021), where the works are arranged like chess pieces, and the permanent vitrines for the Interventions strand of the 2023 Tate Britain rehang, a series in which contemporary artists are invited to react to and form a layer upon the historic collection.
