SignAgent has launched Meet the Waymakers, a new podcast shining a light on the practitioners who shape how people navigate complex environments. From airports and hospitals to cultural venues and city districts, the series explores the hidden logic behind intuitive, inclusive wayfinding.

Each episode features an in‑depth conversation with a designer or strategist, covering career journeys, sector insights, emerging trends, and the human stories behind effective navigation systems.

The launch episode, now streaming, features Jonathan Mugmon of Populous, author of The Science of Wayfinding, in conversation with host James Bosma. Drawing on more than three decades of experience, Mugmon discusses behavioural design, audience needs, cultural context, and the principles that guide large‑scale wayfinding. He also previews his upcoming design bootcamp at SEGD’s annual conference.

Meet the Waymakers is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube.
