UK leading signmaker Astley proudly announced that they have achieved their bronze medal from EcoVadis, a global leader in business sustainability assessments.
The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: environment, labour & human rights; ethics and sustainable procurement. More than 130,000 companies globally have been rated by EcoVadis.
Astley is a UK signmaker and has amassed a wealth of expertise in creating branded environments, supporting leading brands in various sectors, from retail and hospitality to FMCG and leisure.
Earlier this year, Astley was also one of the first signmakers in the UK to publish their Net Zero Roadmap, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to sustainability. By prioritising ESG initiatives, Astley aims to lead by example and demonstrate that businesses can thrive while working sustainably.
“Astley is incredibly proud to have received the EcoVadis Bronze medal, which is a recognition of our commitment to making sustainability a core part of our business … Sustainability is more than just looking at our environmental factors, but also it’s about how we treat our staff and supply partners, and how we can continue working sustainably to ensure we have a healthy business that supports local recruitment,” said James Mavi, Sales & Marketing Director at Astley.
