SDS member and leading full-service provider of traditional and digital signage solutions Astra Group has been appointed by Renaker to deliver the signage for its much-anticipated new development – Vista River Gardens. Work on the project is already underway, with a target delivery date of November ’25.

Set within the Castlefield Conservation area, on the banks of the River Irwell, the impressive 55-storey tower will provide elevated riverside living when it completes later in autumn 2025.

The six-figure brief sees Astra Group responsible for designing, manufacturing, and installing a breadth of interior and exterior wayfinding signage at Vista River Gardens, to help residents and visitors navigate
the impressive destination.

The contract is the latest in a series of collaborations between the two Manchester head-quartered businesses, with Astra Group having also worked with Renaker to deliver interior and exterior wayfinding signage for The Blade and Three60, at New Jackson.

Speaking about the contract appointment, David Mulligan, Managing Director of Astra Group’s Signage & Digital Division, commented: “Set within 1.6 acres of landscaped river gardens at Trinity Island, Manchester, Vista River Gardens will, upon completion, bring a new standard of waterfront living to the city. We’re proud to have the opportunity to work with Renaker on this remarkable development and to contribute to the ever-changing face of Manchester.”
