Join us on 6th February 2025 for the launch of Dr Francesca Froy’s new book ‘Rebuilding Urban Complexity: A Configurational Approach to Postindustrial Cities. The event is being hosted by the Bartlett School of Planning and the Bartlett School of Architecture (Space Syntax Lab). It is co-organised with the University of Oxford’s Sustainable Urban Development Programme. Francesca will introduce her new book, which explores how urban complexity evolves and how it gets destroyed – drawing on the former industrial city of Manchester as its main case study but also featuring Sheffield and Newcastle. She will be joined by a panel of speakers from UCL Bartlett and the University of Oxford including: Dr Jess Ferm, Dr Sam Griffiths, Professor Neave O’Clery and Dr Patricia Canelas.
