Buro Happold’s Young Employees Forum (YEF) and BH Backstop, Buro Happold’s employee climate action group, are hosting a Climate Conference, exploring the future of the built environment, structured around three themes: Ma­terials, Nature, and Places.

The event aims to inspire the next generation of built environment professionals to think beyond business-as-usual practices and explore what a regenerative future of the built environment could look like.

The event is two-fold: The first half of the event will have a series of short (5 minute) presentations exploring a “what if” statements around the future of the built environment, followed by a panel Q&A. Following a break for refreshments and networking, in the second half of the event, attendees will split into small groups to discuss questions that explore the themes raised in the first half in more detail, creating a space for informal, collaborative dialogue.
