From her early career in publishing houses such as Faber & Faber, to setting up her own imprint called The Merrion Press for the production of letterpress printed books of the highest standards, and her instrumental role in establishing and maintaining the Type Archive, the achievements of Sue Shaw (1932–2020) were plentiful.
