Join the Irish Architecture Foundation and the Building Centre for an evening reception and panel discussion celebrating To Not Design Is to Cost The Earth, currently on display at the Building Centre.

IAF Director Emmett Scanlon will chair a conversation exploring the value of architecture across a range of scales, from strategy to detail, with:

  • Jenny Lovell, Allies and Morrison
  • Tom McGlynn, Níall McLaughlin Architects
  • Heike Neurohr, Hawkins\Brown

First shown in Dublin in 2025, this expanded London edition brings together drawings, photographs and films featuring the work of architects across the island of Ireland. The exhibition champions architecture and design as essential tools for responding to today’s social, spatial and climate challenges.

The evening will consider how architectural intelligence can help create places that are more sustainable, equitable and resilient, and what Irish design culture can contribute to these urgent conversations.
