About our speakers

Andrew Haig has a background in identity design, typography, print publication, web, and exhibition design. He has almost four decades of design experience equally divided between academia and business. Andrew currently teaches at Swinburne University’s School of Design and Architecture in Melbourne where he is the Course Director of the interdisciplinary Master of Design programme. He recently was a partner in a Melbourne-based communication design consultancy where he worked with clients from the media, environment, entertainment, education, and museum sectors.

Mark Janetzk’s approach to design is informed equally by the pragmatic and the creative. Building on 30+ years of experience in Australia’s leading design studios, Mark has executed brand, spatial, experiential, exhibition, online, and printed communication projects for clients in Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. He has won numerous awards from, among others, the New York Type Directors Club and SEGD.
