After a long break, the Sign Design Society Awards 2027 are back and now open for entries.
Created to recognise excellence across sign design, wayfinding, interpretation and the built environment, the Awards celebrate projects, products and people who are shaping more accessible, engaging and effective places. Open to organisations and practitioners worldwide, the programme reflects the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of the sector, bringing together expertise from design, architecture, transport, accessibility, manufacturing, placemaking and beyond.
The Awards showcase innovation, encourage best practice and highlight the value that thoughtful sign design and wayfinding bring to everyday environments. From transport networks and public spaces to cultural destinations, healthcare facilities and commercial developments, successful projects play a vital role in improving how people navigate and experience places.
A wide range of categories recognise achievements across the profession, while an international judging panel will be announced shortly. The panel will comprise leading experts from across the wayfinding industry.
Entries are now open, with the submission process designed to be straightforward and accessible. Prospective entrants can now download the Entry Guidelines, Registration Form and Submission Form from the Awards page on our website, enabling teams to begin preparing submissions now.
