The Department for Transport is currently seeking views on improving the code of practice on design standards for accessible stations.
The code of practice on design standards for accessible railway station provides standards for anyone carrying out rail infrastructure improvements. The underlying principle of the code is that, ‘whenever work takes place, the opportunity is taken to ensure the output of that particular work provides for improved accessibility’.
This consultation closes at 11:45pm on 1 December 2023. Reponses to be submitted online, by email or in writing.
